5. Channel Operators
Users with an @ symbol infront of their nicks are called Channel Operators. They are the guardians of the channel they have the @ in. Channel Operators have the ability to change channel settings (depending on their access given by the founder). They can kick and ban users from the channel among other things. The channel Founder is resposible for his channel and not irc.WorldUsers.net. Irc.WorldUsers.net will not take part in how any channel is managed unless it violates the network rules. You can find out who is the founder of a channel with any of the following commands:

/chanserv info #channel

/quote chanserv info #channel

/msg chanserv info #channel
