2. How to identify your nick
To access the NickServ command list, you need to identify to your nick. You must choose the nick you have registered and perform one of the following methods:

/msg nickserv identify password
/nickserv identify password

Other methods of identifying to NickServ include:

/quote nickserv identify password
/services identify password

NOTE: To avoid accidentally posting your password on miscellanious channels, make sure you identify to your nick in the Status Window on your IRC Client.

Only identify to NickServ & ChanServ on irc.worldusers.net and to noone else. If you meet people using nicks such as N|ckServ or NckServ asking you to identify your nick to them, DO NOT DO SO. There are many users who would like to cause trouble by stealing your passwords.

Passwords are case sensitive so be sure to put your passwords in the same manner as you have used during Nick Registration.
