Currently we do not need more servers, only if you have a very good dedicated server and/or you can bring lots of users we might be interested.
If you think you would want to link a server to our network read below to see if you can fulfill our requirements and accept our rules.
First, if you don't have the server yet please contact us before you purchase anything. Do NOT buy anything before we have checked it.
- We do not accept servers running behind a "home connection", i.e. dialup, DSL or Cable.
- Server in a shell is ok, although we prefer dedicated servers, but it has to be stable.
- Connection speed should be at least 10Mbps, and 100Mbps or faster is recommended.
- You need 2 background processes, 1 for the IRCd and 1 for the proxy scanner (BOPM).
- We expect to get access to the shell where the IRCd and BOPM are running.
- We offer the possiblity for server admins to link their server to our network if they are also provide beside more network capacity new users to our network. In our network we run Bahamut IRCd It’s slightly modified, and we have made our own package of source files, and detailed instructions on how to build and configure the IRCd.
Before you get a permanent link your server will be in test link, usually for 4 weeks. During that period you can have only 2 operators in your server.
