AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) guidelines which users of WorldUsers Network must follow while they are on our network. For whom that don't know English language very well we did make some translations to different languages hoping this will help them to understand our rules very well.

English

1. Use of the WorldUsers IRC Network is a privilege, not a right. The WorldUsers Network Administrators and Operators reserve the right to revoke anyone's access to this network without warning or reason.

2. Terms of Service: The following section provides a list of what WorldUsers considers abuse of its services and this policy. Such abuses include but are not limited to:

SPAM and unsolicited commercial messages:
Users are NOT permitted to send messages that contain information inviting users to visit websites, other networks, or participate in any activity when that user does not specifically have permission by the affected user or channel to provide this information. Additionally, WorldUsers will take appropriate action against a channel or individual if we are notified that the user is conducting the same activity on other networks, which directly involve or affect WorldUsers

Excessive Connections:
WorldUsers uses technology to limit the number of users that may connect from a single IP address. This is to protect the services, servers, resources and users of WorldUsers from potential attacks. Users that believe they have a valid reason to allow more than the limit, may speak to the network administration to have the limit raised for their host

Insecure Proxies or Un-Authorized Hosts:
Users are not permitted to connect to WorldUsers by utilizing insecure proxies or hosts for which they have no authorization to connect from. WorldUsers checks the original IP address of users for insecure proxies upon connection. Un-Authorized Hosts is defined as hosts that the user has not been granted express permission from the host's administrator to use to connect to IRC.

Bots Policy:
Non-abusive bots are tolerated not supported by WorldUsers. Abusive bots (i.e.. floodbots,Warbots, hacked servers etc.) are NOT tolerated in this network. Additionally, Individual servers may not allow any type of BOT. If this is the case, it will be stated in the MOTD of that server

Services Abuse:
Abuse of network registration services which includes but not limited to "Nickserv" "Chanserv" "Memoserv" and "Operserv" will not be tolerated on this network.

Personal Harassment:
Attacking people on this network in a personal way, about their beliefs, sexual preferences, color of skin (this includes ALL Racial slurs/Comments), and any and all other personal attacks will NOT be tolerated here.

3.Limitation of Liability:
The content and discussions found on this network are in no way endorsed or supported by the network owner's, admins, or IRCops. If a user knowingly participates in any activity that is considered illegal or un-lawful does so at his own risk, and can not hold WorldUsers responsible or liable for any of his actions.

4.These rules and policies may be changed at any time and without notice.
